The Chi Phi Fraternity is pleased to host our Advisor Webinar Series once again through the Fall of 2018.  These webinars are designed to provide education for all Alumni and Advisors who are currently or interested in working with our undergraduate men.

Each webinar has an individual registration; therefore, click on the title of each Webinar you wish to attend. Following your registration, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing the webinar. All webinars will be held at 7:00 p.m. (EST).

For this series, we will be utilizing Zoom Conferencing. This program allows for video chat as well as call in availability. It is highly encouraged that you attend the program using the video feature so that you can meet and interact with fellow Alumni from across the country!

August 7, 2018: State of the Fraternity with Grand Alpha
Joining us for our first webinar of the Fall 2018 semester is Grand Alpha Bob Walker, Iota Delta 1970, who will present the State of the Fraternity and will also be available for questions. If time permits, National Office Staff will also be available to assist with tips on how best to kick off the Fall 2018 semester.

September 11, 2018: Is Greek Life Worth Saving?
This webinar will identify some of the issues currently plaguing Greek Life across the country as well as identify steps that are being taken to help ensure the changes are both proactive and positive for all. Specific topics addressed will be NIC policy changes, the #myfraternity movement, different perspectives on recruitment, changes to New Member Education, and the importance of Total Member Education.

October 2, 2018: Communication
Although the title might sound simple, the topic itself is far from it. This webinar will focus on strategies and techniques to help advisors to communicate effectively with undergraduates. Topics will include motivational interviewing, understanding generational differences, and the sharing of best practices/experiences from both Staff and fellow Alumni.

November 6, 2018: Elections: Guidance, Transition, and Resources
The Thanksgiving Holiday traditionally not only marks the final countdown of the fall semester but also indicates that officer/chairman elections are soon forthcoming. Therefore, this webinar will discuss topics surrounding the election process: how involved advisors/alumni should be, the best way to effectively transition leadership, logistics of Chapter/Executive Council Retreats, and resources available to help both alumni and new officers/chairman.

December 4, 2018: Hello, 2019!
With fall semester rapidly coming to a close, this webinar will focus on tips and tricks to help ensure that everyone kicks off 2019 on a positive note. Topics discussed will range from ways to encourage Brothers to focus on academics, a review of policies surrounding risk management, things to remember when closing the Chapter House for a few weeks, and, of course, national programming scheduled for early Spring 2019.
